Prof Aderemi Oluyinka Adewumi

Aderemi Olunyinka-Adewumi
  Prof Adewumi is a former United-Nation University fellow and currently leads the optimization
and modeling research group in the School. He serves as editor, reviewer and editorial board
member for many reputable journals and conferences aside serving on various committees.

He is also a member of many academic and professional organizations including ORSSA,
IEEE and IAENG and currently serves as the Chairperson of the KwaZulu-Natal Chapter of
ORSSA. His research interests include global optimization and artificial intelligence with
particular interest in computational intelligence and heuristics for real-world global optimization
